Monkey Day

It's nearly Monkey Day! December 14th is Monkey Day and is a chance to show your appreciation of simians by doing some ape related activity. So how come December 14th is Monkey Day?
Others say that Monkey Day began as a scientific backlash to all of the religious holidays permeating the month of December, an evolutionary finger to the creationist holidays.
That's a good enough reason for me - I'm off to peel a banana and evolve a bit.

Sancho brought a message from the Fat Man
"Sorry, boy, to leave you high and dry,
but I went to see my mom in Ensenada,
and I left a little something to help the time go by
Just a little something to help to keep you high"

Bananas & Blow (oh - oh), Bananas & Blow
Stuck in my cabana, living on Bananas & Blow

Now the rainy season reminds me of Maria
The way she danced, the color of her hair
Now I'm locked inside a stall at the cantina
Eating the bananas and the cocaine off the mirror
Looking for a ticket to take me away from here

Bananas & Blow (oh - oh), Bananas & Blow
Stuck in my cabana, living on Bananas & Blow

Bananas & Blow (oh - oh), Bananas & Blow
Stuck in my cabana, living on Bananas & Blow

Given your fondness for quoting Ween I'm guessing that's what that is?

hmm Small Cock? Ween? A pattern emerges! ;)

And what does "small cock" have to do with "Ween"..?

But yes, well done for spotting the correct source of the lyrics. The track is called "bananas and blow" (funnily enough), and you can download a live version of it from here! :)
