Morning

The Urban Beast Project.
The Urban Beast Project attempts to document and exhibit the almost extinct plight of wild and feral animals living in the midst of our urban areas. Using adaptive skills, these beasts carved out a new "natural" system of living from the peripheries of buildings, roads and parks. While most of the Urban Beasts described within have met the end of their species, it is our hope that with exposure and attention many other Beasts will be saved.

Is Caffeine Withdrawal a Mental Disorder?. I would say so if i dont get at least 2 or 3 cups of coffee before i attempt anything in the morning. :) I'll be needing these to get out of bed one day.

The Snail Shell System.
The SNAIL SHELL SYSTEM is a low cost system that enables persons to move around, change their whereabouts and live in various environments. One unit supplies space for one person. It is mobile both on land and water. One person can move it slowly, either by pushing it like a wheel, walking inside it or on top of it.
On water it can be rowed, moved by a kite or hooked up to a vessel, for example, a ferry. The unit rests on one flat side and can be anchored in lakes, rivers, harbours or at sea. On land, it can be placed in city spaces, fields, forests etc.

Loud music and deafness has a little info what to do if gigs are too loud. Most of the gigs i've been to in recent years have been too quiet. I don't know if that is down to local noise laws or maybe i am going deaf through too much loud music in my younger days. Probably the latter :)

Walk out if it's too loud and complain to the organiser afterwards? Wuss!

22 days and I hope our ears bleed! :)

Like i said. I hav'nt been to any gigs that have been too loud in years. The last place to really hurt my ears was in the reggae room in the old Mayfair in Newcastle or maybe it was in the Tunnel in South Shields or maybe it was when we saw Floyd in Earls Court either way that was at least 12 years ago.

The current noise laws in our area means you will probably never go to a gig again that is too loud unless its a back street bar/club with tolerant locals. You have absolutely no chance of your ears bleeding at the Blink182 gig because every gig i've seen at the Newcastle Arena has been too quiet, that includes Green Day, Radiohead and the Foo Fighters. All too bloody quiet for me. I should have complained it was too quiet. Then again, as i said, maybe i am going deaf after my younger days.

Yeah - mine used to be ringing for days after the Tunnel. See Bungers - this mini Tunnel report here is only about 10-12 years overdue! There's hope for you yet!

I'm definitely not hearing as well as I used to. I should join the Age Of LItigation and sue Sony as I blame Walkmans in the 80s more than concerts/clubs.

Maybe there's room on the market for a Concert Amplifier Headset. I'm off to invent one.
