Greetings from across the pond

A Geek Valentine

Earlier this week, a college basketball player made an 85-foot game-winning shot with a fraction of a second left in the game. The next day, the local news station challenged him to do it again... and he did. The game-winning video, the news video, and the full report.

This multiplayer online Pictionary-like game has been around for a while, but I've never seen any linkage to it - I just did a google search one day because I was in the mood for Pictionary, and figured it had to be out there.. It's surprisingly good - If you know it, roll eyes and ignore me. It's iSketch.

I love skydiving, and I've collected many of these, but this is my current favorite thrill video. It's only 1.39 MB, so even if you're using a rotary phone to connect to the internet, it's worth it. (If, sometime in the future, the link dies, it's because I had a bandwidth crisis - here's another link to the same video, but with pop-ups and ads and such.)

The skydiving bloke is a nutter!

The Circlar life one is a good idea - I reckon Bungers should turn his occasional series 'Images From My Car Window' into one of those. ;)
