It seems SBR agrees with Dogs that God and Kluivert are very similar players as he has'nt started a game with them two up front in any of our pre-season friendlies.
Does this mean Dogs has a superior football knowledge or has SBR finally lost the plot? You decide.

I think Fat Freddie has been thinking that thought for a while now.
I still love Bobby - but I can't believe he's not going to try them together. I'll reserve judgement until a couple of games into the season though as preseason means fsck all.
To Merg : I'm still gutted about Nobby.
To mm : I would have thought pre-season was the perfect chance to get them to play together for the first time.
It would have been the perfect chance to play them together - however I don't know what's in Bobby's mind (I don't think he does most of the time!) so I'll wait a bit longer.
It may be a surprise for the smogsters. Boro won't expect the Al & Pat show so won't be prepared for it if it happens. They could have been practicing their bollocks off together in training and all these Shearer in huff shite is just part of the plan. Wishful thinking probably - but Bobby deserves at least a few games so we can see what's going on for real.
We could have Bellamy and Ambrose supplying crosses for Al and Pat. I'm not suggesting we play Al and Pat all the time mind - just when tactics require. Or even that fscking useless Frenchman that stands on the left wing might manage 1 or 2.
And the nobby sale was stupid - but no point dwelling on it it now.

Sorry, again. I never realised God and Pat played the game in the air. Like neither of them are just as capable with their feet.

As for the Bernard situation - if that's right it's insane. Give him 2 contracts I say.
Dogs : If you had'nt noticed Giggs has dropped back and played a much less attacking role in the last 4-5 years.
To all : I hate bowyer too but i have to agree that i would prefer him in the middle to Nicky Butt-Munch.
