Someone has taken the Planet Of The Apes film, re-edited it and made it into an episode of the Twilight Zone. In the editor's words:Why? Both were written by Rod Serling!The Forbidden Zone site has the production notes here with a 61.8MB qt here.

Good job Pierre Boulle has passed away then. Rod Serling was only partially involved with the adaptation to screen.

Might have been a little difficult to work in the Twilight Zone angle if he'd used Monsieur Boulle.
Although he could have done POTA Over The River Kwai instead.
