Mini economic revival

It seems perky tats aren't the only sign of a recovering economy - in Japan the length of a mini skirt is tied to the economical performance. As consumer confidence rises so does the hem line.

The question is, do short skirts cause the economy to rise?

If so, shouldn't we have a law prohibitting skirts over a certain length?

Of course, as my Ma is so fond of saying about some things on TV, "some sights are better left unseen" ...
