Guardian disowns Dogs

The Guardian have declared blogs a thing of the past and declares vlogging is the hip new trend for interweb monkeys with too much time on their hands. So where does that leaves Dogs and his quest for Guardian inclusion? I doubt Dogs' idea of vlogging are quite the same as the Guardian's so we'll never get a mention.

The best bit about the article was this statement:
He slipped into the now ubiquitous - even, he says, in Peruvian one-horse towns - internet cafe
That means Blackpool is less wired than a one horse Peruvian town as it took me 2 days to find interweb access and you couldn't connect a normal camera never mind a video camera. Pah.

Amongst other places I tried the library, the tourist info and the local branch of Games Workshop figuring that the local geeks would know but no joy. I eventually found out at a tiny info kiosk on the seafront. The actual tinterweb cafe was well out of the town centre. Pah don't they know it's the age of the superinfobahnoweb?

But now I have wireless and could probably find somewhere with this. Yay!
