Follow up - Wireless Hotspots

Pity we don't all live in San Francisco, but here's a little more follow up on our story yesterday, showing you how it should be done! (Just incase you haven't seen this already, it's one of Blogger's recommendations of the week...)
Bay Area Free Wi-Fi Wireless Hotspots
Also features a neat little iPod based guide that helps you find all those free wi-fi hotspots...

Of course I hope you've set the site up already as part of the New Links Inc Intarweb Group. ;)

I remember when we were promised a place on that Blogspot news page - I reckon they must be waiting for my BlogSpot Fuzzy Clock tutorial (maybe tonight) or more likely (as I haven't actually mentioned my very own js Fuzzy Clock on here yet) they are waiting for the New Links New Comment Count Code tutorial - which I reckon should be ready ooh some time soon after the Vicky Tunnel report comes.

That's a fuzzy clock - but the basic premise is it says 5 past ten instead of 10:06:32. It rounds it to the nearest 5 min interval then anglicises it. I wrote it in JavaScript just after I posted the how to write extensions post with the intention of doing a fully fledged extension. I gave up on that though - too much fscking about.

But I am left with a fuzzy clock script which I've been meaning to do something with for ages. I figured I'd stick it on here as loads of other blogs are doing proper clocks atm so I thought we could have a trendier one than them. :)

And of course being a veteran New Linker you get a 10% discount of the aforementioned 50 quid or 15% for cash.
