The Misunderestimated Man
Choose Jesus. Choose to be Prez. Choose to evade National Service. Choose a dysfunctional family. Choose a fucking big army, choose oil supplies, SUVs, Patriot missile systems and depleted uranium ammo. Choose shit economy, cheap Mexican labour, and outsourcing. Choose to ignore the Kyoto agreement. Choose the White House. Choose Rumsfield, Cheney & Rove. Choose cowboy clothes and denims. Choose a country to invade and still deny basic freedoms. Choose the RIAA and wondering why the fucking music costs so much. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, Evangelist shows, stuffing fucking pretzels into your mouth. Choose praying with Tony Blair. Choose retiring at the end of it all, enjoying your last in a luxury home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up voters who put you in, in the first place. Choose stupidity.

I was watching the snooker the other day, and there was a player, who went for the safety shot, rather than the colour. He misses, and the commentator says "I bet he wishes he went for the brown now" and John Virgo says "How many times in life can we all wish we'd gone and done that, rather than the other..."
Yay! our dogs has come home! And how does that make me sound like BS? I'm just having a monkey spanking session (ooer!) and the sub title was How Bush Chose Stupidity which led me to Choose Stupidity which in turn made me think of the Trainspotting thing. Simple really - just combining cultural references with news. A sparkling mix. Sorry for attempting humour. Fsck me he's back 2 minutes and he's picking fights already!
Hey... more posts like that must equal Grauniad recognition. I'm gonna write me one of those posts too! Besides, you don't want to hear our new plan for you getting us into the Grauniad. hehehe! ;) Although, I must admit, it is genius, and you will like it. Not a lot, but Paul Daniels has never been more right.
You forgot "Choose to snooze". ;)
Welcome home, Blogs.Errr sorry, dogs :) Iluvnufc
Damnit.
I don't like this new comment box thing.

You're just a stick in the mud like ILuvNufC! :) The main reason I switched was due to Haloscan being unavailable a lot. At least with these comments being part of the Blogger service they shouldn't go down - unless Blogger itself goes down which mean no can read your blog anyway.
I rarely have a problem with Halscan now.Seems fine since the big switch-over to Blogger's comments.I think.
I must be getting old, i don't like change so i will stick with Haloscan for now.
Haloscan is much better in some ways - allowing you to do html tags for links and smileys was spot on. But I'm sure Blogger will add that soon enough - it'd be an easy enough hack for them to do. At the very least the comment entry box should have the same functionality as the post entry box wih link insert etc. The only thing we are really lacking other than that is a new comment hack - which I'm working on now.
