One for coders

Coders (and printers) know how useful Lorem Ipsum is but it makes for very boring reading when you've seen it for the millionth time during testing.

Now there's an alternative - the Malevole Text Generator asks you for the number of paragraphs of text you require and generates them. So what's different? The source of the text used - it's drawn from song lyrics, cartoons and TV series.

For example the page I am currently working on has three paragraphs of generated text consisting of the Muskehounds, Thundercats and Hong Kong Phooey theme songs. This should make page development slightly more amusing if nothing else! :)

Well this stuff is fairly nonsensical too but I know what you mean.

I only use it for layout testing but just got bloody bored of pseudo latin. This way at least when you test a page layout you get a smile. :)

If you think this is good...

Ten years ago a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem and no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-team.

Check out this!

Ulysses, Ulysses - Soaring through all the galaxies. In search of Earth, flying in to the night. Ulysses, Ulysses - Fighting evil and tyranny, with all his power, and with all of his might. Ulysses - no-one else can do the things you do. Ulysses - like a bolt of thunder from the blue. Ulysses - always fighting all the evil forces bringing peace and justice to all.

Best link all day, and it's not even eleven o'clock!

I thought you might like it...

However we DON'T want front page postings like that all day mind! ;)

heh cool.
This isn't as fun [no tv theme lyrics] but a nice Lorem Ipsum firefox extension no less.

No no... we wouldn't want New Links to look like this now, would we! ;)

(sorry, I just can't seem to resist wheeling that out every time... )

You mightn't - but that's because it;s stuff that's way above your limited understanding! ;)

Bhell13: That extension site you posted the other day? Excellent one stop extension shop - but can they be trusted? i.e. how do we know the extensions they have on the site haven't been fiddled with?

Hmm, who to trust......?
I found the link to the 1-stop extension shop on a fairly reputable forum but I spose its up to you who you are willing to put your trust in.

They look decent enough...

Bugger it - I'll give them a whirl. If you hear I've been arrested for running a spam box you'll know why! ;)
