Free the BBC

The Union for the Public Domain has launched a campaign with a name that just rolls off the tongue, "Support a truly free and robust BBC Creative Archive", but has an aim that is short and concise: it's ours, give us all of it, give it to us now.

It has been widely reported that the Beeb is going to release archives over the net, possibly via BitTorrent style technologies and/or possibly using some streaming video shizzle they've been working on. However it's delivered SATFARBCA want to ensure we get access to everything we have paid for which is a pretty reasonable demand I'd say. New Links recommends you go and sign up now.
