Apparently today is Bloomsday which is the hundredth anniversary of the events in James Joyce's Ulysses. Coincidentally it is the book that I am most like according to this quiz.
To celebrate this event the Ulysses: One Page Every Day site has been set up to give you.. erm... one page of Ulysses every day. The webmaster recommends downloading the book directly from Project Gutenberg if you are too impatient to wait for a daily dose. However if you are really impatient you could read the synopsis at the beeb. If even that tests your patience too much you could vote at Book A Minute for them to do a condensed version here.
