The Inverse Shootem'up is a vertically scrolling shootemup of the 'old skool' variety with cannons, lasers, missiles, spikes and flights of defending aircraft all trying to blow the crap out of the attacking spaceship.
The inverse bit? You get to control the base defences. All your base really are belong to us!
