mmChronic kt.OBE?

This one looks like a right royal con. Everyone knows you can buy titles (our very own Lord Harpole is the 1st example that springs to mind) but this eBay auction appears to be selling titles in a totally made up order called the Order of the Black Raven and Eagle - so shouldn't that be kt.OBRE rather than kt.OBE or are they trying to make it look like OBE?



Anyway it's wrapped up in some history about the Tower of London in a bid to give the order some historical background but not once does it mention when this order was founded - it just sort of mixes it into the rest of the text implying some long and ancient tradition. The clincher for me is when they put

"Every Religious Person Is Encouraged To Apply For Membership"

Presumably some people will be stupid enough to part with money and it doesn't seem to be illegal. I'm off to found the Order of the Netty Door and Claarts.
