I helped to do this...

We'll have no Labour here!OMFG!Labour have lost the local council elections in Newcastle for the 1st time in over 30 years. I'm a lifelong Labour supporter but enough is enough.

New Labour are fast becoming the New Tories with their lies and spin, fscking PFI schemes, don't give a monkeys foreign policy and not giving a shite about the opinions of the working man. Where's their socialist backbones? Wankers. I was particularly pleased to see the leader, Tony Flynn, lose his seat as he strikes me as the biggest wanker of the lot. At least he should never have a weight problem!

I picked a mix of Labour and Lib Dem candidates for the council elections. So if that's anything to go by they will be even worse off in the Euro elections (results in on Saturday night) as I didn't pick a single Labour candidate for those. I didn't go for the 'protest party (whatever it was called - the one fronted by George Galloway) as they sounded a right bunch of 70's style loony left types. Again I chose LibDem to register my protest. I will however be voting Labour at the next General Election. I want to make a protest - not topple Labour and allow the Conservatives back in.

New ground for NewLinks.

So you've missed all the posts about George Bush, Tony Blair, transport, fuel prices, fat bastards, farmers etc etc?

It's all politics at the end of the day. Just like that rather spiffy animated 'get off your arse and vote' advert says in fact.

No, but most of it has been from other sites. This is the first time anyone on here has had a serious go at it that i can remember.
P.S. My memory is poor

No I don't think we've ever had a political piece as such but the fact we take the piss of our the ChimpMeister is to some extent political. And there has been plenty of that.

There are plenty of sites taking the piss out of Kerry but I've never linked any of those. That's a bit of 'editorial bias' for you...

Plus it's also news, it's also local and it IS something I had to do with. Most importantly of all - it made me smirk like a very smirky person indeed when I read it.
