What's this all about then? Tyne and Wear Metro, Metro Radio, Newcastle Racecourse and of course Guinness have arranged a free pint of Guinness to celebrate St Patrick's Day. All well and good but I don't recall the ENGLISH, publicly funded Tyne and Wear Metro doing something for St Georges Day who is after all the patron saint of the country whose taxes go towards paying TWM's running costs? Pah - inverse racialists.
They'd be better off spending money on spell checkers - "charactature artists"?
So now that English public bodies are helping to organise drinks for other countries special days can we expect Kronenbourg 1664 for Bastille Day and Budweiser for Independence Day to be provided by the Discovery Museum or someone?
