Damon Albarn sings "I'm A Fucking Cunt"

And to carry on in a Blur stylee here's Damon Albarn sings "I'm A Fucking Cunt". That page is also the subject of a googlebomb - this time for the word 'cunt'. Details here and the actual Google search results here. Looks like it worked then.

Parkspliced

We haven't had a mashup album for a little while so here is the follow up to London Booted (a mashup of the Clash's London Calling). This time Blur's Parklife is mashed up to give us Parkspliced.

Monkey's World

This one is local and a monkey - where can you go wrong?

Monkey's World is all about
" a Monkey who supports Newcastle United FC and travels the world meeting stars. He also seems to attract the chicks with his cheeky good looks!"
There's loads of pictures including trips to Milan, his chicks and slebs.

More car in pool adventures

I think our previous car in pool post has just been topped. This car in pool is actually a series of shots including pictures of the car being pulled from the pool by a crane.

How to write Firefox extensions

RoachFiend, the author of the BugMeNot plugin, has written "How to write Firefox extensions" which is a guide to erm... writing Firefox extensions. Keep your eyes peeled for a New Links plugin - one day. Probably.

One for bariatric hackers

If you're too busy hacking code to get up and exercise and eat properly then the The Hacker's Diet (or How to lose weight and hair through stress and poor nutrition) is the book for you.

It even includes calorie counts for typical hacky food like BK and pizza. There are also Excel spreadsheets and Palm software so you can work just how fat you are.

Geordie on tour

One of our next door neighbours in cybertoonspace has just had some cracking news. BykerSink of SpaceHardware got accepted on the VSO jobby and is off to Hanoi at the end of August. Congratulations - and give us a shout if the beer is on.

PS. He's turned his post page stuff on. Yay! So the link above goes directly to the relevant post now for the first time in a very long time indeed. This interweb is fscking clever stuff ye knaa.

Miss Georgia Sex Offenders 2004 Pageant

Someone has pulled together a collection of pictures of registered female sex offenders in Georgia for an online beauty pageant. And there are some lookers - it's a shame Bungers missed this one!

I don't kick puppies!

Or the geekiest personal ad ever. The ad has flowcharts, mentions of zombie dragons (although to be fair zombie dragons are not what he is looking for) and a cool graph showing how many puppies he has kicked which is also extrapolated to show how many he might kick in future.

Where in the world...

is Dogs.I hope he is'nt in Greece

Is Bush Gay?

Baptists Are Saving Homosexuals are asking the question "Is Fabulous President George W. Bush a Fabulous Homosexual?". It certainly looks that way!

This might just explain his rampant homophobia. As this article at wikipedia says:
Some studies have linked deep hatred towards homosexuality to repressed homosexual feelings.

One for Dogs

Or is it Dogs in the picture? Looks like he's got a new job as a whale's willy watcher. It'll explain why we haven't seen him for a few days as it looks like he has his hands full at the minute. NSFW The picture itself is probably alright but there's a rather rude pic at the top linked to a pr0n site.

New Links - the interweb's premier resource for cetacean pr0n. Yay?

Quite a strange subject for a web site but informative and entertaining nonetheless. Sorry this is short and sweet, ILuvNUFC Junior is climbing all over me while i type! Pathetic Motorways

Orgasmic Orcas

Or whale pr0n to you and me! I wonder if this is the sort of thing Dogs goes to sea for.

bitoogle

bitoogle - the bit torrent file search engine is exactly what it says on the tin. It searches various bittorrent listing sites and collates the results. You can even opt to have the swarm stats with the results ie how many seeds and downloaders are connected.

I know what ILN will be playing with this afternoon!

Google Acquires Picasa

You know BlogSpot struck a deal with Picasa to allow us to store our pictures for free? No wonder they were so obliging - BlogSpot owners Google have just bought Picasa. Which leaves even less for Bill to buy so if he wants New Links he'd better hurry.

Scambaiter

Here is an article about someone called Mike who turned the tables on the 419'ers.He replied to the Nigerian that he could'nt possibly help someone who was not of the same faith as him.So guess what? The Nigerian became a member of the "Church of the Painted Breast" and even mailed a picture of himself doing the initiation.Check the pictures.
I know this kind of thing is'nt new to the Tinter-web, Mergs, but i just recieved my first 419 yesterday after nearly 2 years online.Previous to that i was beginning to feel left out.

I think we need one of these

I need some help with posting as all of New Links' other posters seem to have died so this may come in handy. R. Robot: The first self-writing weblog is a very clever blog - and there's not a human in sight! It's a perl and MT mash up and pretty funky it is too.

Stick a name in and it'll write a post with that name in and some related googling. So if you go now you'll find an article about BykerSink (real one here) and one with me in.

EDIT: The links direct to the posts don't work - it looks like the post pages aren't created - so if you want to see the posts generated scoot over quickly before other posts knock them off the page.

DIY Rollercoaster

Stuck for something to do for your next DIY project? How about building a rollercoaster? A man in Indiana has done just that. No plans available - he built it by 'trial and error'!

We expect a recreation of Whitley Bay's Spanish City in ILN's yard by the weekend.

You Send It

Bhell13 posted a link the other day for a service called Dropload which allowed you to upload a file up to a 100Mb in size and they will store it for you. You send the download link to your mates and they have up to 4 days to grab whatever you've stuck up there. After that the file is deleted. Nice easy way of sending files to friends.

But New Links users don't want a puny 100Mb file limit and a measly 4 day storage time. We've been spoiled by Gmail and nothing less than 1Gb storage will do. A week of storage time would be nice too. Which is where YouSendIt comes in.

We tried it on Saturday night about 9pm so the file we uploaded should be there until 9pm (BST) 17th July. It's a 6.8Mb wmv video of a slightly strange Japanese pop song with mad anime effects. Try it for a mini speed test. Just as well Bungers is out of the country as this may have proved too big for his steam powered dial up thingummyjig. ;)

Note with both of these services that you can upload as many files as you want, send the links to yourself and publish it just like we have with the video. In addition to this YouSendIt has no sign up process. MP3 blog anyone?

Hollywood Is Calling

Do you want an American Z list celeb to 'phone you on your birthday so you can pretend you have friends? Then Hollywood Is Calling could be what you are looking for. For $19.95 you can be called by someone as famous as Lou Ferrigno, Larry Holmes or erm... a baldy Willis from different strokes.

Of course if you've truly no friends save yourself the money and pretend one of these 'superstars' called you - it's not as if you're going to get found out.

I have to go - Cameron Diaz and Angelina Jolie are on the phone for me. I'm so glad I have that 3 way call option.

American Segue :: America at 10 MPH

A group of 3-6 Americans are going to ride a Segway from Seattle to Boston and make a documentary about the people they meet and events that happen on the way.

They are of course going to blog about it so we don't have to wait for the documentary. The trek starts August 5th.

My money's on them being ambushed by some of those militia looneys in the NW forests and the Segway ending up with a nice camo paint job.

Yet more links to songs

This time it's a collection of folk/traditional songs. Sing me a dirty song featuring such songs as As i was walking through the woods i shit myself and Boy meets girl.
