Bung, the hardware you really need is here. If that doesn't do what you want then I'm sure I have seen USB MIDI adapters - which has to be marginally less hassle than the card.

Oh no! Bunger's sound card doesn't have a MIDI port! All I want is a PCI card with a MIDI interface! Am I going to have to buy one of these....???
I've got a soundblaster with a MIDI port but it's one of the old sk077 ones with the wrong bus/interface thingy... and as such, won't fit. A bit like a dead epileptic.
