Court Rules P2P Legal

Executive Summary: Makers of decentralized P2P software (Kazaa, etc.) are not liable for its mis-use, furthermore altering copyright law to change this will do more harm than good by stifling innovation.

So it seems that software isn't to be held to different standards to everything else (like, say, guns) yet... Granted this is in the US, but we all share the same Intarw3b.
