In the news today...

11 reasons to sack Sven from the Daily Mail. Reason number one being that Sven isn't the honest, cosmopolitan man of honour and integrity that we thought we'd hired. He's just a "money-grabbing, multi-national chancer". And for once I'm not bothered by the tabloids favourite sport - England manager assassination. He may be after the money (aren't they all?) but he's still a good football coach and he's shagged Ulrika. What's the problem? Errm? We didn't win Euro 2004. Errm? What's unusual about that? We wiz robbed. Again. Sack the manager.

Yay Dogs has taken a break from lurking!

He (Sven not Dogs) should be sacked as he is foreign. Bloody Johnny Foreigners what do they know about football? blah blah racist mail drivel.

Seriously though I think he should have been sacked for his gutless display during the Brazil game at the last world cup. I don't think he's a particularly good or bad manager. But having an average manager as national ciach is a bit shite really.

I reckon we should nick Scolari from Portugal.

Well 6 of your 11 reasons are he shagged Ulrika. So have half the showbiz circuit it seems. So does that make C list slebs like Hunter at least 55% eligible to be England manager?

Seriously though Sven has got only 3 or 4 good games (Germany 5-1, Argentina game at WC 98 and erm... make that 2) out of that squad - the rest of the performances have been distinctly average.

Oops - that's 12 reasons so the %age should be 50%.
